The annual Children’s Light Party (an alternative to Halloween) came and went with a hiss and a roar!

Hundreds of kids & adults left with smiles on their faces.

Here is some feedback from a few participants:

I’ve been to heaps of Light Parties through Vineyard Church. The Dr Seuss theme was great! More so, as I won first prize dressed up as the Grinch.                                                                                                                                     Grace O (11)

I love Light Parties. They are much more fun than what Halloween would be. The bouncy castle was supa-fun! I dressed up as Thing Two.                                                                                                                                                              Faith T (7)

This was my second Light Party at Vineyard. My costume was Thing One. I took a friend with me. The night was very enjoyable.                                                                                                                                                                       Nicola W (8)

I was asked to help in the BBQ area. The three BBQ’s were professionally manned by their owners, so I was promoted to Tomato Sauce Administrator. The manners of ALL children was mind-blowingly amazing. It was a pleasure being part of this worthwhile community event. Thank you MountainView Vineyard staff, volunteers, and Council for making this possible.                                                                                                                                                                          Nathan W (50+)

I went to the Light Party with my family, cousins, and Grandma. The games and Mr Hunger’s bikes were the best. Ate heaps of lollies!                                                                                                                                                            Nathan T (10)

The Vineyard Light Party was my first in Taranaki. I enjoyed seeing my friends, and the toilet paper game (Ed. makes the mind boggle at the thought!). Looking forward to going again next year.                                                                      Taliah M (9)

What is TABLES?

An opportunity to connect with others through the fellowship of a meal together. Some offer their home for hosting; others as guests. These groupings are revealed at the time of the meal.

It becomes a sacred spot to see strangers become friends!

The next event is November 2019. Contact the office for more details.

This year MountainView Vineyard launched SUMMERCAMP.  We did it our own back yard with tents, bonfires and rain.

We had such a great time meeting VIneyards from around New Zealand that we thought we would do it all again!  Well - almost.

There will be no tents and your food will be cooked for you. We can however guarantee that the same Jesus will be there and the same passionate hearts for Jesus will be there. We will still pray together, worship together and have crazy fun together.

Sound great? We think so!

July 14 - 16 2017.  Contact us for registration details.
